REPORTS TO: Preventive Maintenance Supervisor SUPERVISES: N/A: The primary objective of this position is to be the technical expert at the deck plate level helping prevent the failure of equipment and to preserve and enhance performance of equipment. Provides technical support and training to the level I and II, while assisting the Supervisor in day-to-day operations. Ensures that preventive maintenance activities are completed according to defined schedules aimed at the prevention of breakdowns and failures. Preventive maintenance activities include equipment checks, oil changes, lubrication and so on. Ensures that PM activities including but not limited to making physical rounds of the ship(s), modules, and warehouses are performed and completed in accordance established guidelines and policies. AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conducts preventive maintenance according to a schedule of planned maintenance actions aimed at the prevention of breakdowns and failures. - Works from limited documentation, schematics, diagrams, notes, production prints and layouts. - Establish a maintenance schedule, then plan and conduct that maintenance IAW the established schedule. - Perform equipme...
