Senior Estimator

Job description

Senior Estimator Reporting to the Estimating Director, the Senior Estimator will assume responsibility for the preconstruction cost management of large-scale projects, as well as, multiple smaller projects. During Preconstruction, they will work closely with the owner, design consultant, and Project Manager to prepare cost plans, undertake value engineering, complete cost-saving exercises, and develop the project budget. This role will continue through the tendering sub-trade work ensuring that all aspects are effectively coordinated, meet the project specifications and are under or at budget. This position is based in the Mississauga, ON office. What You Will Be Working On Opportunity Response: - Working with the Regional Management Team (RMT), support the development of new market initiatives and business opportunities based on the best use of the regional resources/assets and current trends in the industry and the competitive landscape. - Establish and maintain strategic relations with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders including governments and the public. - Preparing Estimating deliverables to Proposal Strategy.
