Infrastructure Engineer

Northstrat is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, secure, and maintain our enterprise infrastructure. This role combines advanced Cisco networking and security expertise with strong Linux systems administration experience. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, security-focused, and comfortable operating in a hybrid on-premises and cloud environment. Key Responsibilities: Network Engineering: - Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure Configure and support: - Cisco routers and switches - Cisco ASA and/or Firepower firewalls - Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) - Manage VLANs, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP), and switching technologies - Implement and maintain site-to-site and remote access VPNs - Maintain network segmentation and security controls - Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management - Monitor network health and performance using SNMP and other tools - Troubleshoot complex Layer 2/3 connectivity issues - Implement and enforce network security best practices - Maintain firewall policies and intrusion prevention system Linux Systems Administration: - Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHE...
