Description The University of Washington, Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics and Seattle Children’s Hospital invites applications for a 1.0 FTE leadership position as Associate Professor or Professor on the Clinical Practice Track. Rank is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Anticipated start date Winter 2026. In addition to clinical work, teaching, scholarship, and service are integral to all Clinical Practice positions. The initial appointment period will be three years, at a minimum, with eligibility for renewal thereafter. Faculty on the clinical practice track hold multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Clinical Practice track appointments are not eligible for tenure.
