Job description

A Senior Facilities Technician performs fabrication, installation, maintenance and major repairs. Maintains the operation of all building equipment, accessories, and components; which may include lab-related equipment. Works with contractors as needed to complete necessary work. #LI-Onsite - Performs fabrication, installation, maintenance, and major repairs. Maintains the operation of all building equipment, accessories, and components. - Responsibilities include maintenance, repairs, and operations of pollution control equipment and accessories, and/or other lab-related equipment. - Responsible for various duties in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), building automation, programmable logic controllers, mechanical, chemical, electrical disciplines and pollution control. - Assists in training and supervision of others in the use of building equipment and components and operations. - Writes bid specifications and all other associated tasks for bidding work out to contractors. - Manages and coordinates “as-needed” and/or periodic work that is fulfilled by contractors. - Responsible for input in the preparation of the annual budget for repairs and/or replacement of buil...
