PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: Assure cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public areas and assist Housekeeping colleagues in order to maintain Langham and Forbes standards of quality. RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES: - Ensure all areas are kept free of soiled linen and trash. Stock closets with all supplies and linen as directed. Obtain amenities and supplies for room attendants as directed. - Pick up and sanitize glasses according to hotel policy. - Keep butler pantries and housekeeping storage areas clean and neat. - Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells and foyers as needed. - Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guestroom doors, and elevator rooms. - Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor. - Be able to do laundry, clean rooms, and public area - Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. - Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. - In slow season it is necessary to support in o...
