Job description

Overview To function as a staff physical therapist in an active outpatient pediatric setting. The therapist will work with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities. The therapist will have the opportunity to participate in specialty clinics including wheelchair/seating clinic, Orthotic/prosthetic clinic. There is strong emphasis on working together as a team to assure the best care for our patients. Responsibilities: - Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, visitors, and other employees. Interacts professionally, courteously, and appropriately with patients, visitors and other employees. Behaves in a manner consistent with maintaining and furthering a positive public perception of Bronx Care Health System and its employees. - Contributes to and participates in the Performance/Quality Improvement activities of the assigned department.
