Employment Type: Full time Shift: Night Shift Description: This is a FT position on night shift. The HVAC Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout the hospital campus during night shift hours. This role ensures optimal performance of HVAC systems to maintain a safe, comfortable, and compliant environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What you will do: Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on HVAC systems including air handlers, chillers, boilers, exhaust fans, and split systems. Inspect, clean, and replace filters, belts, coils, motors, and other components as needed. Monitor building automation systems (BAS) and respond to alerts or anomalies. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues, escalating complex problems to day-shift technicians or supervisors. Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements (e.g., AHCA, OSHA). Respond to emergency calls related to HVAC systems during night hours.
