APPOINTMENTS FROM THE PART-TIME POOL ARE TEMPORARY AND OFTEN MADE JUST PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ACADEMIC TERM. APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE. The Landscape Architecture Department seeks applicants for a pool of part-time lecturers, with positions available as determined by need during the 2026-2027 academic year beginning August 17, 2027. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications, experience and time base. Courses in 2026-2027 will be 15-week semester courses. Primary responsibilities are to teach in one or more of the following core subject areas: a) Lower-and upper-division design studios and support courses; b) Landscape representation, hand and digital graphics that include 2 or 3-dimensional graphics and drafting, CAD drafting and/or GIS software; c) Landscape architecture construction including site engineering, construction document preparation and implementation strategies; d) Environmental systems, landscape performance, and landscape ecology; e) Planting design; f) Professional practice, social equity design, design for climate change.
