Department: 11906 Lexington Medical Center - Environmental Services Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: 2nd shift Pay Range: $20.80 - $31.20 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum two years' in-house experience and 120 hours of hard surface experience and 60 hours carpet care experience. No current CAFs. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: Completion of the competency for the Emergency Department. Certifications in EVS Customer Service Care, operating room cleaning, and in all floor care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting and sanitizing furniture, equipment, mirrors and fixtures; washing windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures; sweeping, scrubbing and refinishing floors; vacuuming and shampooing carpet; re-stocking restrooms; replacing light bulbs; and reporting repairs. 2. Heavy contact with cleaning chemicals, disinfecting agents, floor strippers and finishes. Majority of work is indoors but may assist with outdoor cleaning including parking lot, windows and roof.
