Summary: Serves as the trainer, mentor, and educational resource to Medical Assistants with emphasis on training new Medical Assistants and established employees identified as needing more training within the Memorial Physician Enterprise. Under the direction of the Practice Leadership, the Medical Assistant Trainer is responsible for developing a curriculum and educational materials that the staff can reference during and after onboarding. Responsibilities: Uses existing training content to coordinate, develop, design, and maintain team and individual training materials specifically for the Medical Assistant Team; updates materials to align with Epic's software enhancements.Works closely with division leadership to identify areas of deficiency and develop training to improve competency, continuing education, and process improvement.
