Work Schedule Other Environmental Conditions: Laboratory Setting, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.), Will work with hazardous/toxic materials Job Description: Summarized Purpose: Performs laboratory procedures such as blood harvesting and urine monitoring according to protocol as assigned. Works with site staff in assuring the smooth and orderly flow of procedures in the Clinics, Lab and Urine Monitoring areas. This position is working maximum 20 hours per week on a Per Diem contract. Qualifications: - Collects and harvest plasma, serum, and all other required laboratory specimens according to protocol specifications. - Monitors the collection of urine and/or fecal specimens from subjects participating in studies. - Completes all required study documents and might need to be trained on special equipment per protocol. - Assures that all procedures and processing areas are maintained in a neat, clean, and organized manner. - Performs other duties as assigned.
