Job Title: Grocery Merchandiser Job Type: Full-time: Location: Prichard: Job Summary: The grocery merchandiser is a skilled and motivated self-starter with leadership qualities who performs various store activities to attain P&L goals/budgets. They are responsible for implementing and training store personnel regarding all aspects associated with product presentation. They are also responsible for driving operational standards in accordance with Greer’s approved plans. They will also need to be aware of the changing consumer preferences and offer a wide variety of food options to include trends in mainstream as well as healthy products. Duties/Responsibilities: 1. Reports to grocery team and/or executive team any opportunities for improvement. 2. Responsible for assisting stores to attain budgeted sales and margin. 3. Trains employees in basic operational and merchandising techniques as needed. 4. Offers ideas and direction to improve/eliminate shrink (dating/theft/paper losses/etc.). 5.
