Hollowcore Saw Operator

Job description

Description Mack Industries is looking to add a saw operator for our hollowcore division in Vienna, Ohio. As a saw operator you earn as you learn through our Mastery Program. This position requires one to cut, trim, and prepare precast hollowcore concrete slabs to specified lengths, angles, or openings using specialized concrete saws to ensure precise, high-quality cuts according to production blueprints. Also maintain machinery, and prioritize safety on the production floor. Develop your skills as you advance through Mack’s Mastery Program! Pay is based on experience, paid weekly! Essential Functions: · Operate bridge saws, rail saws, or manual saws to cut hollowcore slabs to exact, specified dimensions · Interpret technical drawings and work orders to determine cutting requirements · Measure finished cuts with tape measures to ensure tolerances are met and inspect for damage · Perform preventative maintenance on saws, including checking lubrication systems and changing blades · Wear PPE and operate equipment according to company and safety guidelines · Utilize overhead cranes or forklifts to position, stack, and move concrete slabs Requirements: Education and Training: - High Sch...
