Job description
The Compliance Officer will oversee the compliance program for Life Insurance Trust Company (LITCO), manage AML/BSA functions, assist with audits and regulatory exams and assist with maintaining all LITCO corporate governance responsibilities. The Compliance Officer will also manage the Company Trust Committee and oversee all aspects of identifying and mitigating fiduciary risk. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: - Oversee Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program - Evaluate existing policies and procedures related to fiduciary risk, recommend enhancements, and develop actionable processes to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risk exposure - Assign and periodically review risk ratings for new and existing trust accounts, ensuring appropriate due diligence and ongoing monitoring - Assist the President and Board of Directors in preparing for and conducting quarterly board meetings, including compiling materials, reports, and compliance updates - Prepare and submit accurate and timely quarterly and annual reports to regulatory authorities, ensuring full compliance with reporting standards - Assist with internal and external audits and regulatory exams...
