Position Title: Lecturer in Physiology and Neurobiology Position Type: Fixed Term (Fixed Term) Salary Range: Salary will be between $79,660 and $82,040, based on the number of courses taught and years of teaching experience; benefits eligible. Purpose: The Department of Biology at Santa Clara University, a Jesuit, Catholic university, invites applications for a Lecturer (2-year, non-tenure-track) in Physiology and Neurobiology. Courses may include collaboratively taught course(s) Introductory Biology for life science majors, a non-majors laboratory course in Exercise Physiology, and upper-division laboratory courses in Human Physiology and Neurobiology . Specific assignments will be made according to the academic qualifications of the individual and programmatic need. The successful candidate will teach the equivalent of 7 courses, with at least two courses each in each quarter, fall, winter and spring. Each quarter is 10 weeks long, with an 11th week set for final examinations. This position starts September 1, 2026. This is an in-person position.
