Position Posting Community Peace Officer Level 1 (CPO1) (1 Position Available) Term of Employment: Full-Time, Continuing Rate of Pay: Out-of-Scope, Band 5 Location: RCMP Detachment Duties: Reporting directly to the Manager, Municipal Enforcement, CPO1’s are responsible to provide key Policing supports to the community by enforcement of Provincial Acts and Municipal Bylaws. Duties and Responsibilities: Leadership - The CPO1 participates in the building of a cohesive interdependent plan that works to achieve objectives and, in collaboration with other departments and agencies, the overall vision of the City of Lloydminster within the context of the strategic plan. - Participates in the training and mentorship of junior staff. - Represents the City of Lloydminster with the highest standards, values and ethics. Confidentiality: - Maintains the strictest confidentiality in all matters. - Meets or exceed the requirements of the RCMP enhanced security policy. - Adheres to the policies and principles of the LA/FOIP Act.
