Job description

We are looking for a reliable and conscientious Maintenance Fitter/Welder to join our ER Country West team based at the East Guyong Quarry Workshop, located approximately halfway between Orange & Bathurst on the Mitchell Highway. As a Maintenance Fitter /Welder with Heidelberg Materials Australia, you will be responsible for supporting maintenance work on both Quarries and Concrete Plants throughout the Central West NSW region. Your day will start around 5 :30 am and wrap up around 3 pm, Monday to Friday, but there is overtime available, including Saturday work. This is a full-time position, and reports into the Quarry Manager. Maintenance works may range from programmed maintenance schedules, shutdowns, reactive maintenance tasks, which will encompass fabrication, organisation of resources and supervising and conducting repairs. This role will support and ensure work is done proficiently, within commercial time frames, and in adherence to Heidelberg Materials policies and directives.
