Job description

What you will do: The Surface Operator is responsible for equipment operation as well as lump coal hand screening functions to support mining operations. Position also requires willingness and ability to work outside the cab on a variety of physical tasks as assigned. (not an all-inclusive job description) Experience and abilities you will need: 16-Hour MSHA Surface Certification Required Candidates must complete a 16-hour MSHA certification course to be eligible to work on a federal mine site. If selected, training is provided by the staffing company through whom you will be initially hired. - Driver's License in good standing (Required) - High school or equivalent (Preferred) - Heavy equipment experience operating skid steer and front-end loaders required. - Ability / willingness to work any shift assigned (days, swings, weekends, and graves) required.
