Job Description: Truckee Meadows Community College, located in Reno, NV is seeking applicants for an NSHE Specialist 1 in the Financial Aid department. The NSHE Specialist 1 position oversees the Student Employment Program and financial aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) ensuring full compliance with applicable institutional, state, and federal regulations. The position is also responsible for processing consortium agreements, and assisting with the disbursement of the Nevada Promise Scholarship Program. The position will provide financial aid counseling to students, participate in financial aid outreach events which include evenings and weekend work, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Financial Aid.
