Electrical Engineer II, Titan

Job description

ICON is looking for an Electrical Engineer to help in the development of ICON’s latest print systems on the Titan Team. This team is responsible for delivering the machine known as Titan to Serial Production. As an Electrical Engineer at ICON, you will be in a hands-on development and technical design role with responsibility for the creation and support of well-designed, maintainable electrical systems. This role is based at ICON’s Austin, TX office and will report to our Manager of Titan Electrical Engineer. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on the electrical design and development of a robotic platform for construction, with a focus on motion control systems and dynamic fluid system integration - Design and prototype electrical systems, specify instrumentation, and support R&D initiatives across a variety of experimental platforms - Advance systems from prototype to commercialization, including panel design and fabrication in compliance with UL508A, NFPA 79, UL2011, NFPA 70 (NEC), and related standards - Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting, process optimization, and manufacturing, while designing and integrating solutions in a fast-...
