PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: Assure cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public areas and assists room attendants in order to maintain Langham and Forbes standards of quality. Assist colleagues whenever they are in need of help. RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES: - Ensure all areas are kept free of soiled linen and trash. Stock closets with all supplies and linen as directed. Obtain amenities and supplies for room attendants as directed. - Pick up and sanitize glasses according to hotel policy. - Keep butler pantries and housekeeping storage areas clean and neat. - Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells and foyers as needed. - Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guestroom doors, and elevator rooms. - Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor. - Be able to do laundry, clean rooms, and public area - Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. - Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. -...
