Job description

The Faculty Support Coordinator provides administrative support to the Online Dean, Associate Dean, Chairs, and online faculty members in matters related to online education. The Faculty Support Coordinator communicates with online faculty through weekly announcements, assists in course assignments, coordinates curriculum development, coordinates online faculty hires, and other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include: - Support faculty through weekly announcements and by answering questions - Gather and compile course assignment availability and coordinates assignments in consultation with department leadership - Maintain faculty records and hierarchies in various systems - Coordinate hiring and onboarding of online faculty - Maintains communication with IMs & SMEs to ensure coordination and implementation of LUO policies and procedures - Coordinates training of online faculty and maintains current training materials and online faculty Canvas community resources - Coordinate curriculum development of new courses and maintaining existing courses and supporting faculty Subject Matter Experts - Assists in accreditation matters - Research and compil...
