Job description

The Storage Engineer Senior provides senior-level engineering and operational support for storage services under the SEC ISS contract. This role is accountable for day-to-day SAN administration, with emphasis on EMC and NetApp platforms and NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP environments. The position supports SEC objectives for high availability, performance, data integrity, and operational continuity across enterprise storage infrastructure. The engineer works closely with enterprise operations and service management teams to resolve incidents, maintain SLA-aligned performance, and execute proactive capacity planning. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: SAN Operations and Administration: Administer and maintain the SEC storage area network (SAN) environment, including EMC and NetApp systems. Perform day-to-day administration of NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP, including provisioning, monitoring, and optimization. Ensure storage platform availability, reliability, and performance for enterprise applications, databases, virtual workloads, and user data.
