Overview Position: Senior Environmental Engineer: Employment for this position is contingent upon successful contract award, project funding, and client approval. Los Alamos Technical Associates, Inc. (LATA) is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to provide staff augmentation support for National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance and environmental review activities related to site projects and construction efforts. The selected individual will lead and support the preparation, coordination, and documentation of NEPA analyses, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, State of Texas, and Department of Energy (DOE) regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: NEPA Compliance & Documentation • Lead coordination and preparation of NEPA environmental reviews for site projects, including Environmental Assessments (EAs), Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), floodplain assessments, and supplemental analyses• Support development and documentation of categorical exclusions (CXs), NEPA checklists, and environmental review determinations• Ensure NEPA documentation meets DOE and regulatory requirements for accuracy, completeness, and defensibility Coordination & Stakeholder Eng...
