Organisation: Leicestershire County Council Work Location: County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester, LE3 8RA Salary: Grade 9 - 11 - £32,070 - £42,699 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) (Pay award pending) plus £3,300 market premia payment for Level 3 Social Workers Working Hours: 37 hours per week Contract Type: 2 posts – 1 Permanent and 1 Fixed Term (one year from start date) Closing Date: 24th May 2026: About the Role: We are recruiting a small team to operate a permanent duty function for Operational Commissioning services in Charnwood and Melton. This advert is for two Social Workers to operate the service, please see separate adverts for the Team Manager and Community Support Workers that will make up the team. The successful candidates will be motivated and experienced in Adult Social Care; able to make timely, legal, defensible assessments and decisions which best support the most vulnerable adults in Leicestershire. The duty team will cover Cognitive and Physical Disability; Mental Health and Learning Disability and Autism service areas.
