Tour Coordinator - Full-Time

Summary: Coordinate and schedule internal and external requests for guided- and self-guided in-person tours and virtual field trips. Maintain schedules for and communications with volunteer educators. Provide support for training programs for volunteer educators Qualifications: Required: Preferred: - Process and fulfill requests from the public and other Museum departments for guided- and self-guided tours. - Schedule regular drop-in tours for the general public in collaboration with the Associate Educator, Guide Programs. - Reserve event and gallery spaces for self-guided and guided tours, copyists, and other public gallery- and classroom-based programs and activities. - Assign volunteer educators (docents and guides) and staff to lead scheduled guided tours. - Maintain schedules, rosters, and regular communications for Engagement and Interpretation volunteer educators (docents and guides). - Greet scheduled groups to welcome them to the Museum and provide information to help ensure a positive visit. - Assist with preparing and maintaining resources for tours and other engagement activities, including in the Tour Resource Room and in galleries and other public spaces. - Assist wit...
