Job Summary NATURE OF WORK: IFF is seeking a Packaging Technician in our New Century, Kansas facility. As a Packaging Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, troubleshooting, minor adjustments and general maintenance of all automated, semi-automated and manually operated packaging equipment. You will be exposed to cold and dry conditions in the winter, as well as hot conditions in the summer. The environment also consists of excessive dust and powders. As a Packaging Technician, you will be required to keep the production area clean and possibly clean vessels where half-face or full-face respirators may be required. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following: - Safe and effective operation and minor adjustments of all packaging equipment. - Proper handling, packaging, labeling, coding and marking of product. - Accurate and timely sampling of materials and communication to lab. - Accurate and timely documentation of your production day. - Safe, healthy and clean work environment. - Report all accidents or near misses to Lead/Supervisor. - Willing to support other produ...
