Compliance Specialist Renewable and Resilient Generation: JOB SUMMARY: This position is for a Compliance Specialist who will support multiple Georgia Power Renewable and Resilient Generation (R2GEN) sites as well as Plant Branch Coal Combustion Residual (CCR) Project. This position will be responsible for compliance programs (NPDES, Safe Dams, SPCCC, surface and ground water withdrawal, Waste etc.) along with ash pond dewatering/CCR management and well monitoring activities. The successful candidate will maintain in-depth knowledge of current environmental and health laws and regulations as they apply to the various facilities and use that knowledge to ensure compliance with permits and regulations. They will interface with corporate and regulatory agencies and ensure appropriate notification for incidents of non-compliance. Will interface with local First Responders regarding Emergency Action and Response Plans. Provide oversight from a compliance perspective for new R2GEN assets during and after construction.
