Job Title: Equity Research Associate – SMID Biopharmaceuticals & Animal Health Reports to: Sr. Equity Research Analyst Department: Equity Research: Location: New York: Salary Range: $110,000-$150,000: We are seeking a highly talented individual to add significant value to our equity research team. This individual will work closely with senior research professionals to assist in preparing and executing analyses of specific areas within SMID Biopharmaceuticals & Animal Health. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of intellectual curiosity, passion for biotech innovation, Animal Health, and the stock market, and the ability to be a strong team player in a fast-paced environment. Previous sell side associate experience is preferred. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Formulate investment recommendations based on fundamental analysis, valuation and risk assessment of individual companies - Leverage scientific and financial mindset in writing research reports on companies for distribution to the Leerink sales force and institutional clients - Collect and analyze data (i.e., scientific papers, clinical trial data) related to biopharma and Animal Health - Interview company e...
