Affinity Water has an exciting opportunity to join our Staines Water Quality Sampling Team. Everyone has an idea of what a water company does. At Affinity Water, we make sure that over 3.89 million customers can rely on our services, and have clean and safe drinking water on tap, But for us, it’s so much more than this. What you'll be doing: New environmental legislation, unprecedented levels of investment and changing expectations from customers means that this is an exciting time to discover opportunities within the water industry. You’ll spend most of your time out and about visiting water treatment works, reservoirs, and other Affinity Water sites in and around Staines and collecting water samples across our operational areas. You’ll perform routine, non-routine and random sampling across our supply area, working independently to complete your daily schedule. There will be a level of interacting with our customers to gain access to residential properties to take water quality samples, and so you'll be comfortable with entering customer properties and engaging with the public.
