POSITION SUMMARY: The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The Security Officer Level 1 is also responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons, employees and company assets. This position is classified as a Safety Sensitive position. It is a job or position where the team member holding this position has the responsibility for his/her own safety and/or the safety of others. - Proactively identify and respond to emergency situations including in-progress acts of violence, crisis, weapons incidents, explosive incidents, natural disasters and a wide range of issues posing a hazard to lives and/or property using the appropriate escalation of force by following established protocols. - Assist in emergency situations by securing the scene to prevent further loss or damage, advise personnel of threats and potential threats, summon emergency responders to the incident, and initiate and conduct evacuation procedures. - Render appropriate first aid to injured persons and follow established protocols for reporting injuries. - Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information....
