Location: McAllen, TX Position Type: Part Time w/ Benefits Shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday About this opportunity: This position is responsible for cooking and serving nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules; ensuring all meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner; cleaning kitchen facilities, equipment and appliances; maintaining inventory of kitchen supplies and food in a neat and orderly manner. Key responsibilities: - Food Cooking and Serving Responsibilities (50%) - Kitchen Cleaning Responsibilities (50%) What we are looking for in you: - High school diploma or G.E.D and one-year experience cooking food for large groups, OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. - Valid State Drivers License - Food Manager’s Certificate (or ability to obtain within established timeframe) Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements.
