Description Job Description: The Behavioral Health Paraprofessional (BHPP) is an entry level position that leads to the position of Behavioral Health Technician (BHT). Under direct supervision, the BHPP provides adult client supervision in a residential environment. - The BHPP’s will ensure that all plans and activities are coordinated according to the treatment recovery plan for each client by including case notes and documentation. - The BHPP’s will observe client’s behaviors daily, effectively intervene with any crisis situation, demonstrate good judgment in decision-making and provide effective rehabilitative services. - Assists in the maintenance of a safe, secure environment that enhances treatment and/or educational effectiveness. - Assists in progressive programmatic development using an integrative model of care with consideration of both behavioral and physical health issues. - Plays a significant role in providing input, treatment, and coordination for physical health, wellness and prevention as a member of a clinical team on site. - Contributes to a recovery-based environment. - The BHPP’s will provide a variety of direct care and supportive services by collaborating an...
