Terms of Employment: 12 MONTHS Exemption Status: NON-EXEMPT AFSCME Salary Scale – UB Grades 13 - 15 https://www.ccboe.com/careers/salary-scales POSITION DESCRIPTION: This is highly skilled work in the installation, configuration, operation, repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and security management of data communications, and computer hardware and software within the school system. This position provides support to users in the use of software and hardware. The work is performed under the supervision of the Technology Department. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: - An associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred. - Minimum of one (1) year experience OR three (3) years of technically progressive current work experience in local and wide area networks, user and help desk support. - Minimum of one year’s experience as a Computer Analyst I or similar experience. - Industry certifications are desired.
