As a part of a diverse community of faculty and staff who represent many faith systems and worldviews, Marian University Plymouth is seeking qualified applicants for a Full Time Non-Tenure Track faculty member to teach introductory courses in history and political science at our Plymouth, Indiana location This position reports to the Academic Dean at Marian University-Plymouth regarding day-to-day operations and collaborates with faculty at Marian University – Indianapolis for curricular development and discipline collaboration Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Actively engage the Catholic Franciscan mission and identity of Marian University by modeling the Franciscan Sponsorship Values and honoring the legacy of the founding congregation through transformative education, unity in diversity, leadership through service, integrating faith and life, and institutional policies. - Teaching load: 24 credits per academic year and consistent office hours for student engagement and academic advising. - Actively participate in curriculum implementation and activities of the Department of History and Social Sciences (and to partner with the MU campus humanities department in curriculum...
