The Pharmacy Supervisor is a licensed pharmacist who plays a key leadership role in ensuring high‑quality pharmacy operations and exceptional patient care. Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager, this position oversees daily workflow, staffing, orientation, and the ongoing development of pharmacy caregivers. The Pharmacy Supervisor champions a collaborative, team‑based approach to service, ensuring the safe, effective, and compliant use of medications across all areas of practice. This role is essential in supporting pharmaceutical care services—including drug information, medication distribution, and clinical pharmacy functions—while applying age‑specific knowledge spanning from neonates to geriatrics (where applicable). The Pharmacy Supervisor also partners with informatics and medication safety teams to optimize and manage pharmacy technologies and clinical systems.
