Corrosion Lead The Corrosion Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining corrosion protection systems to ensure the integrity and safety of pipelines, tanks, and related infrastructure. This role performs advanced technical work in corrosion prevention, provides training and guidance to staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports departmental operational goals through inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and project leadership. Qualifications: - Design, install, and maintain corrosion protection systems and cathodic protection equipment - Conduct annual corrosion surveys, soil surveys, and pipeline interference testing - Inspect pipelines and tank coatings for integrity issues and coordinate needed repairs - Ensure compliance with federal corrosion control regulations and standards - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for corrosion control equipment - Maintain system reliability, equipment, instruments, and mapping resources - Train Utilities employees and corrosion technicians, including OQ instruction - Assist with budgeting, purchasing tools/equipment, and supporting project planning - Prepare technical reports and support safety, cyb...
