Job description

On Site Position..… Responsible for safe and efficient movement of trailers to and from dock doors. Communicate all movements to Shipping lead. - Must be able to safely and effectively operate a hydraulic fifth wheel and TADC with 53’ dry van. - Responsible for safe movement of trailers in and out of dock doors for loading and unloading. - Physical ability to repeatedly climb in and out of tractor to hook and unhook trailers. - Ensure trailers are clean and free of debris before putting to dock. - Adhere to all company policies. - Adhere to all State, local, and Federal laws. - Ensure load is secured before dropping trailer. - Communicate all issues related to the yard operations to Manager on duty - Ensure that all appropriate asset repairs are noted and corrected prior to preloading assets - Perform a daily shift communication transition prior to the start of the shift Qualifications: Class A CDL Truck Driver: Corrugated Logistics assesses driver applicants on standards for performance, stability, dependability, and honesty.
