Securitas Mall Security Officer – Job Description Position Summary: The Mall Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff. This role involves patrolling mall property, responding to incidents, enforcing property rules, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring protection of assets and public safety. Key Responsibilities: Security & Safety: - Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols throughout the mall, including parking areas, common spaces, service corridors, and restricted areas. - Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) and report suspicious behavior or activities. - Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and requests for assistance. - Enforce mall policies, rules, and regulations to prevent theft, vandalism, and unsafe behavior. - Control access to restricted areas and verify credentials when necessary.
