Job Posting End Date: Worker Sub-Type: Seasonal (Seasonal) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 Position Summary: Responsibilities of this summer seasonal position include preparing and serving hot and cold food, beverages, and prepackaged snacks, candies; cleaning and sanitizing food service equipment and kitchen area, and operating a cash register. Hours will vary based on candidate availability, department needs, and weather. Examples of Work Performed: The following duties are typical of this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required or assigned. Qualifications: - Prepare and serve all food and beverage items in accordance with established menu, safety, and sanitation standards. - Operate a cash register and accurately process cash, credit, and other approved transactions. - Operate food service equipment and vend food and beverages to the public. - Clean and sanitize all food preparation areas, cooking and serving utensils, and equipment, including specialty machines. - Monitor inventory levels and report needed supplies to the Supervisor in a timely manner. - Properly use and handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety gu...
