This position requires travel in the continental United States for various projects. Responsibilities: Qualifications: Required: Desired: - Defines and develops new mobile/transportable shelter system designs. - Identifies relevant subsystems to include hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, HVAC, power generation and other mechanical subsystems as required. - Assesses requirements and system architecture to develop mechanical design solutions to support existing hardware limitations. - Creates system specifications and ensures mechanical interface compatibility. - Analyzes and resolves design compatibility issues. - Coordinates design of mechanical system and subsystems for integration into a system of systems platform. - Coordinates and consolidates design efforts to include requirements definitions through testing verification. - Experie...
