Job DetailsJob Location: Houston - Houston MRI East Houston - Houston, TX 77015Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayJob Category: Health Care Job Summary: Responsible for monitoring patients in the case of a contrast reaction, starting IV’s in CT and MRI department, screening and preparing patients for their procedures. Essential Job Functions: Perform IV’s and set up the power injector in the CT department. Perform contrast injections in the MRI department. Perform Patient Coordinator duties as assigned by Center Manager or Regional Director. Welcome and escort patients to and from the lobbies, dressing rooms, explain procedures, and answer patient questions. Assist CT and MRI Techs in taking patient histories, and screening patients for their procedures. Assist CT and MRI Techs with patient positioning in the exam rooms as needed. Assist with burning patient CDs as needed. Assist with the workflow of technologist paperwork between the front office and the technologists as needed. Monitor patients during the procedures. Administer medications in case of a reaction to contrast. Assist in the proper screening of patients or anyone going in to the MRI Room. Practice infectious contr...
