Part time Academic Instructor (HNU 245) Department of Human Nutrition, Faculty of Science Position Description: The Department of Human Nutrition invites applications for a part-time Academic Instructor to teach HNU 245 (Fundamental of Food Science) (3 credits) during the Fall term of the 2026-2027 academic year. This position is subject to final budgetary approval. This course will be delivered in person, and topics in this course will explore the chemical, physical, sensory and microbial properties of foods. We seek applicants with an advanced degree in Food Science. Applicants should also demonstrate a record of effective teaching and possess strong communication skills. The successful applicant will also have experience working in an interdisciplinary team and show a commitment to supporting and advancing the university’s goals related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. About the Department: The Department offers a four-year program leading to a BSc in Human Nutrition and BSc in Human Nutrition Honours degrees and has an Integrated Dietetic Internship Program.
