Job description
** Internal Workers – Please log into your Workday account to apply ** Expectations: Provides administrative assistance and secretarial support as a member of the Gifts team in the hospital's Office of Philanthropy. The successful candidate will assume responsibility without direct supervision, exercises initiative and judgment. Contributes to a positive and professional work environment. This position requires a high degree of diplomacy and involves matters of a confidential and sensitive nature. This position may require flexibility of hours. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in office management or secretarial at an executive level, preferably in a hospital setting or knowledge of medical terminology. SKILLS: Possess a mastery of office skills; excellent word processing skills (I.e. MS Word, Outlook), at least 45-60 words per minute accurately. Ability to operate a 10-key calculator by sight and take meeting minutes. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
