Description The University of Washington (UW), Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology is currently recruiting a full-time Pediatric Neonatologist on the Faculty Scientist track at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or full Professor without tenure by reason of funding (WOT), commensurate with experience and qualifications. As described in UW’s Faculty Code Section 24-34. Faculty on this track generally spend the majority of time in research however, clinical care and teaching are also an expectation. Anticipated start date is Summer 2027; a specific start date is negotiable. Assistant Professors are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Associate and full Professors hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30).
