LOAD BUILDER Job Summary: The Load Builder is responsible for the loading and unloading of building materials and other incoming materials for delivery or storage. Supervisory Responsibilities: - None. Duties/ Responsibilities: - Move loads, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading areas, delivery vehicles, or by hand using material handling equipment. - Attach identifying tags to loads, stock, or other materials. - Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or operational needs. - Stack loads in locations such as material sheds, storage or production areas, loading areas, delivery vehicles, or by hand using material handling equipment. - Carry out general yard duties. - Review orders for completeness according to reporting procedures and forward incomplete orders for further processing. - Inspect outgoing work for compliance with order requirements. - Check inventory system to determine availability of requested merchandise. - Notify appropriate departments when supplies are low, or when orders would deplete available supplies. - File copies of orders received, or post orders on records as required. - Maintain prof...
