Description GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsibility to function as a Supervisor: Ensure that the employee handbook is being followed; follow all IATF 16949 Instructions. Ensures adherence to PPE policy and 5s principles. Ensure work instructions are being followed and employees are properly trained on products and advised of all changes. Ensures documentation on the floor is up to date and controlled. Supervisor will be responsible for approving the hiring of temporary employees, counseling and coaching on performance along with conducting performance appraisals. Responsible for development of all employees in the department, daily supervision and directing of employee task, and for hiring, disciplining, and termination of employees under direct supervision. Responsible for ensuring company standards are achieved and maintained with a targeted emphasis on continuous improvement, providing support, structure and documented, formalized training for employees. Required to be hands-on, self-starter with the ability to motivate and lead the employees.
