Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician! Under general supervision, the Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring our facilities run smoothly and efficiently. This team member will take on a variety of tasks, including facility repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep related to testing and grounds. This team member is based out of our Johnston location, but may travel to other locations beyond the Des Moines metro. Schedule: Monday- Friday typical business hours with rotating on-call responsibilities. How You’ll Make an Impact: · Electrical issues such as outlets, switches, ballasts, light bulbs, and other equipment. · Plumbing issues: clogged drains, faucets, sinks, toilets, and showers. · Household appliances: refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, washer, dryer, etc. · HVAC equipment, thermostats, etc. · Basic carpentry, drywall patch/repair, and painting. · HVAC, fire door, hospital grade outlets, emergency lighting, assist with annual fire system inspections, and other safety inspections as needed. · Mow and trim garden areas. · Snow removal with manual and power equipment of main campus and daycare centers.
