Job Description Summary As part of a 24/7 proprietary security team, the Lead Security Officer will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment at Raymond James. As a lead security officer, you will be involved in physical security, electronic access control, visitor management, CCTV and life safety systems. Constant interaction with associates and guests, with a Service 1st approach and concierge feel. The lead security officer Follows established procedures to perform routine tasks and receives guidance and direction to perform a variety of non-routine tasks with sound decision making capabilities. Independent judgment is required to act appropriately in new and unusual circumstances and situations. Resolves most questions and problems and directs new or unusual issues to the appropriate person. Assignments can include posts, patrols, rounds, security desks, and more. The lead security officer will be responsible for the training and development of new and existing officers and maintaining the training records.
